Women's Shoe Size Conversion Chart
If you don't know your shoe size, this chart will serve as a general guideline.
Measure your foot with a meauring tape or ruler. Make sure you are standing, wearing the type of socks you will wear with your new shoes. Using either inches or centimeters, convert your measurement to your U.S. shoe size or European shoe size.

I was searching for a purple platform shoe and saw these. I had never heard of this brand before and I don't think I really read the description about the heel height.
5 1/2 inches is substantial and can be dangerous and tricky if you're not aware of every step you take so if you're considering that be aware.
The leather part is a very soft and supple lamb leather with a strong buckle on the strap. The platform is covered in a beautiful suede. The color is a true grape purple.
I purchased the size 8 and it is true to size. I have a wider foot and leather does have some give so they fit comfortably.
I did have to strap the buckle onto the tightest hole in order to keep my feet snug in the shoe. Any looser and the shoe would be loose under my foot and when taking a step it's like stepping off a sidewalk without seeing it.
If the heel were an inch or so less I'd get a pair in every color.
I'm 5'4 and with these shoes nearly 5'10" so it's not an easy height for everyday wear.
