  • Messeca Flats

Had an early flight to LA this morning for business.  My Messeca flats even look good in a plastic airport security bin! Gotta love those California sunrises.

  • Ashbury Skies Fall look book

Our look book is up and we really like the way it turned out. Shot in our hometown of San Francisco, we picked some of San Francisco’s finest spots to shoot.

I especially love the Chinatown shots.  Chinatown is one of our city’s crown jewels. This neighborhood is such a big part of our history and our culture. The lighting was perfect and Heather looked amazing in every shot. The ducks in the window, the Chinese lanterns, the graffiti walls, we could have shot here all night.

Cavin Clark, our photographer, had this crazy vision of shooting in the Stockton tunnel. We were game and he was so right.  He blew us away with these tunnel shots. Note to self:  when Cavin has an idea, go with it.

It is hard to stick my neck out like this because I love so many parts of San Francisco, but North Beach may just be my favorite part of the city.  Besides the architecture, the food, the coffee, the cultural melting part of east meets west, I fell in love with my husband here.  We spent many nights in North Beach cafes dreaming about what our lives  would be like together.  So, we had to get a few shots here too!

There is a parking lot across the street from The Palace Hotel that still has an old fashion gas pump. Yvette know this area of the city well. Her dad works at The Palace Hotel and has for many years. She has been going to the Palace with him since she was a little girl so she knew this spot. We have this image on our home page right now. The shoes look a-MAZ-ing too!

This is near Pier 23, not too far from the Ferry Building. For those of you that have visited San Francisco, you know about the fabulous farmers market held here on weekends. I really love this shot. It was so quiet and serene. These are words you would not normally use to describe this area but this is what it looked like this dreamy September night, near midnight.

Here is the entire look book:

  • Neutra by Jeffrey Campbell

Consistent with our new obsession for ladylike looks, we bring you the Jeffrey Campbell’s Nuetra. This pretty pump is a stunner with its architectural lucite heel and lux black fabric upper. Featuring a round toe and elegant ankle strap, this will move every outfit into the extra ordinary direction.

  • The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in the Park

San Francisco has never been short on music festivals in the park and this week was no different. The Hardly Strictly Blue Grass festival held in Golden Gate park over the weekend had this city stopping their Birkenstocks.  Always a diverse line up and free, by the way, this town was rockin.

  • Gee Wa Wa motorcycle boot

We are particular about our motorcycle boots. Sure you can spend a month’s rent on a good pair but who lives in that world, right?   The Gee Wa Wa Brook motorcycle boot, $159.95, is a great value and is worth your hard earned money. These all-leather boots (the lining too, so your feet don’t get hot) just may be your city staple the season.
